Tom Pellicano, president of Grandview Homes, LLC in Southbury, Connecticut announced he and his staff completed a ‘top-to-bottom’
makeover of a 1908 Victorian-style clubhouse at 64 Holmes Avenue in Waterbury. “We began the project the first week of December 2011 so the new owner Tindall Law Firm, LLC could occupy the building by early January 2012,” stated Pellicano. “The mild winter was in our favor as we worked quickly so attorney Tavis Tindall and his staff could take occupancy by the first of January 2012.”Grandview Homes, LLC is considered one of the leading residential and commercial renovation and building general contractors in the western Connecticut area. The building and renovations company provides services to homeowners and commercial property owners in Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven and Hartford Counties. They were contracted to renovate the 104-year-old building by attorney Tindall and his wife Kelly Tindall who oversaw the renovation and decorating the 1908 building. “We specialize in total renovation services,” stated Pellicano, “and we work well with owners, architects, and decorators to bring out the innate beauty in buildings, old or new. Kelly Tindall was the key overseer on this project, and we began by working closely with her to accurately execute the extensive renovations of the beautiful grand entry foyer and spacious conference room on the first floor that overlooks the classic front porch.”

Pellicano, and Grandview Homes Project Manager Tom Pelletier, worked with Kelly Tindall to renovate and decorate the law firm’s entire new 3,413 square foot practice that was originally built as a Victorian-style clubhouse that was turned into commercial property. The ambition was to restore the former offices, previously occupied by the Waterbury chapter of the American Red Cross, at 64 Holmes Avenue to the building’s original beauty. “The project started rapidly with the restoration of the showcase entry hall and reception area with a brick fireplace and an ornate staircase that leads to the second floor offices,” stated Pellicano.

Attorney Tindall praised Grandview Homes’ “lightning speed’ in renovating the entire building from roof to front porch in one month’s time. “Immediately upon closing the deal on December 3, 2011, a Grandview Homes crew began putting on a new roof. A second Grandview Homes’ crew worked to restore the building’s grand entrance foyer, and the first two floor’s walls, ceilings and floors. Their ability to achieve so much in just four weeks’ time allowed our staff of five to move into the building the last week of December, and we were fully operational by January 3, 2012. Once all the rooms were fully restored, they painted all nine rooms and offices, the kitchen, bathrooms and hallways. They then replaced the front porch pillars, renovated the front porch, front walkway, and steps. This past March, they installed new vinyl siding.”

“As a full service building and design company, this is our expertise,” explained Pellicano. Our team can create everything from new construction to complete restoration of a residential or commercial property. Our work includes custom home building, home additions, kitchen and bath renovations, construction of screen porches and sunrooms, garages, carriage houses, barns and out buildings, finished basements, office and retail renovations, decks and patios, boat docks, and much more. Custom projects are among our most well-known specialties because we take whatever time is necessary to assist our clients with every aspect of planning and designing the renovation or new design they desire.”

Pellicano stated that each new home, office, or retail space Grandview Homes, LLC completes is orchestrated with a commitment to each customer to design, renovate or build whatever is desired. He stated that he established Grandview Homes, LLC to create ongoing accounts, not just acquire jobs. “Our team works with every client to create long-lasting relationships. We work hard to create a family of customers, suppliers, and team members that inspire a working relationship that encourages customers to call us back for additional work time and time again. Our teams’ friendly and efficient nature works well to create a pleasant construction experience for our clients. Throughout each project, we create continual ongoing communications with our clients to ensure that the work we are doing is meeting with their satisfaction each day. We possess a great deal of pride in the quality of our work and our team.

All our clients quickly learn that we show up to a project on time and ready to complete the project swiftly, efficiently and to their satisfaction. This was the case with Tindall Law Firm. We worked quickly and effectively to fulfill all the needs of the 104 year-old structure and the client’s design and decorating needs for an early January 2012 occupancy.” Tavis and Kelly Tindall speak highly, and often, of their exceptional pleasure with the results Grandview Homes produced within in one month’s time. Attorney Tindall commented, “This was an extreme makeover, completed in a short period of time, and the results are stunning. We could not be more pleased with Tom and his team.”
